Who We Are
We are the Forum for Agriculture , Innovation, and Empowerment of Children and Youths - Sierra Leone (FAIECY-SL) a youth-led organization committed to driving positive change in sustainable agriculture and responsible environmental practices.
FAIECY-SL was founded on February 13, 2021 as a youth-led organization dedicated to transforming local farming communities through the promotion of climate-smart agriculture, environmental protections and the dissemination of knowledge on organic fertilizer preparation. We aim to promote sustainable farming methods that cannot only enhance food sufficiency but also contribute to a safer and healthier environment.
WHAT WE DO
FAIECY-SL is on a mission to promote climate smart agriculture and climate education in Sierra Leone.
Our Core Objectives:

1. Climate-Smart Agriculture: Our aim is to disseminate knowledge on climate-smart agriculture techniques that help mitigate the impact of climate change on farming in Sierra Leone.

2. Climate-Smart Education: We collaborate with government institutions, community stakeholders, civil society organizations, children, and young people to raise awareness about the effects of climate change.

3. Environmental Conservation: We participate in projects and initiatives focused on protecting and restoring the environment, fostering a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable ecosystem.
